Pull a school's key dates into the family calendar: breaks, early dismissals, conferences, and no-school days.
Ask for it like this
- “Add my kid's school calendar to my calendar”
- “When is spring break this year?”
- “What days are early dismissal?”
What your assistant does
- Get the school or district name and the school year.
- Search the district's official academic calendar. Prefer its published calendar file or feed if one exists.
- List the dates that need childcare or planning: no-school days, early dismissals, breaks, conference days, and the first and last day.
- Offer to add them as all-day events in a separate "School" calendar so they're easy to hide or remove.
