Cancelled or delayed flight help
When a flight is cancelled or badly delayed, lay out rebooking options and what the airline owes the traveler.
Ask for it like this
- “My flight got cancelled, what are my options?”
- “Am I owed compensation for a delayed flight?”
- “Get a refund for a cancelled flight”
What your assistant does
- Get the airline, flight number, date, route, and what the airline has offered so far.
- Search the airline's own contract of carriage or customer-service plan for cancellations and delays, and the applicable rules (e.g. the US DOT refund rule, or EU261 / UK261 for European flights).
- Tell the user plainly what they are entitled to: a refund instead of a rebooking, meal or hotel vouchers, or cash compensation, and the deadline to claim it.
- List the fastest rebooking paths (airline app, phone, partner airlines) and alternative flights you can find on the same route.
- Draft a short, factual refund or compensation request the user can send, citing the rule and the flight details.
